Annual MATURA Scientific Symposium held 27th January 2017

The annual MATURA Scientific Symposium was held at QMUL on the 27th January 2017. The Scientific Advisory Board attended the meeting and gave positive feedback on the importance of the consortium and the progress made to date. Members of the patient group (MPAG) attended as did over 70 MATURA researchers, the meeting was awarded 5 CPD points.

Patient Research Ambassadors promote and raise awareness of health research in their regions. In January, Simon Stones was awarded ambassador of the month for his work on RA.
Along with many other activities, Simon is a member of the MATURA patient advisory group, MPAG, and provides valuable input to the work of the consortium.
